Hi james,

I dont have the days when the heating was just switched off permanently, i would suggest the days with little gas usage would be whole weeks were we didnt have the boiler on at all and just used cold water / electric shower for washing etc.

I live in the NW just  outside rochdale, up on a fairly high hillside, we have our own weather system here, we have had snow since the 14th december and its not got above freezing for the approx the same time.

The problem with the pic is hosting it somewhere, the ovi was supposed to allow site embedding, but it appears not to, i'll make a photobucket account and load it on there.

So looks like building an insulated cupboard around it is the way to go , also make sure any pipe above the insulation in the loft are well lagged (25mm)
Might be worth having a service and getting them to check the various gas flow pressures are as they should be at the meter and boiler
cheers Jim
